Photo Quest #64 - I want to play too!
I don't usually post photos to the Photo Quests as I can't judge myself and I don't want the Voxers that do post to the quest to think the my photos are what they should be positng.
Summer is Tucson is hot, hotter and hottest! Hot being 100, hotter is 105 and hottest is 110..all very hot to me. So far this summer our hottest temp has been 109...Yikes that is hot. I don't care that it is a dry heat, 109 is very, very hot!
The one very nice thing about our summers is we have more humidity as this is one of our two rainy seasons. Our summer rainy season is called a monsoon season. Before I moved to Tucson I thought monsoons were only in exotic places like India! No we have monsoonies right here in Tucson AZ.
The monsoonies bring beautiful clouds and terrifing storms with lots of wind, lightning and thurnder. This week we haven't had any real good lightnling storms on my side of town. No rain here either. A few miles east of us this afternoon a strom dumped 1.5" of rain and some of our local streets are closed.
My first photo was taken from insdie my little Toyota, hubby was driving no worries! Oh well he drives a little crazy so some worries, but no worries about me driving and taking photos! lol. I like this cloud formation.
Then later in the afternoon there were some great clouds over the Santa Catalina Mountains. I took this photos from my front yard.
Then last night I saw this great cloud when I was driving home. I got the camera out right away and took this photo.

I took all these photos with my new Pentax K 20D and I think I'm in love!
